Even with the incorporation of 3rd party software and the LiveDJ feature, you are required by the Terms of Service to insert advertisements as outlined in Schedule A, if you have not opted out of the Advertising Revenue Share Program.
If you are using a 3rd party LiveDJ software, we provide the files for automation software to insert ads. The files are in the ZIP folders attached below. Each Folder contains files for specific lengths (30, 60, 90, 120 seconds) and there are 5 copies of each trigger spot so that you can have multiple ads of the same length.
It is important that you delete any old trigger files from music library or the folder that your automation software picks the trigger files from so that you can replace them with the updated versions. You might not hear a difference, as they are just templates, but the new files make sure the ads are played correctly. This can be done by searching in File Explorer or Finder for "ADBREAK" or "ADBREAK*.mp3" before downloading them again.
Please note, you will still have to apply advertisements according to our ad insertion total time frame of four (4) minutes of advertisements for every one (1) hour of broadcasting. That means if you want to use advertisements that are 30 seconds long, you must use eight (8) individual 30 second ad spots per hour.
Once you've downloaded, the ZIP folders can be unzipped into .mp3s that you can use in your Events. Do not edit the audio track or metadata of the ad triggers as this will cause overlap/under-run issues.
