Currently, Apple/the iTunes team is not accepting new station submissions or updating information for existing stations. We will review the correctness of this article when they start accepting submissions in the future. |
Submit your station to be part of Apple’s internet radio streaming directory! This will make it available for free to all iTunes users, directly from the iTunes interface. Note that, once submitted, your station will be found under the Internet Radio menu in iTunes, and not under the Radio tab in the main interface.
Adding your radio station to the iTunes radio directory is a great way to attract more listeners to your station, and in turn generate more income from your ads, if you have not opted out of the Live365 Ad Revenue Share Program.
In order to get your station listed within iTunes, you will need to fill out a submission form and submit a station logo. You can read more about the submission process and download the form here. This is a direct link to the submission form. (In this case, it is a zipped .xml file). Do not modify the column titles and do not add any additional columns.
Note that your station must be continually broadcasting before iTunes will accept your submission. In other words, no silence in your schedule. (This is where AutoDJ comes in handy). Before approving your station, iTunes may monitor your station for a span of 3 to 7 days to ensure quality of content.
All fields in the submission form are mandatory, if any information is blank or inaccurate, iTunes may reject your application.
Here are the fields on the iTunes internet radio submission form and instructions on how to fill them in:

Choose the “Submit my Station” option from the drop-down menu. Enter your e-mail address, name and attach the file with your station logo and your filled-out .xml submission form.
