Do you want an Event to play at the same time every week, or every day? This feature is for you! This Live365-internal scheduling feature makes it easy to schedule a Playlist multiple times in one easy step.
This feature will allow you to schedule repeating Events in one easy step. These repeating Events will occur at the same time of day, on the days of the week that you select. Each recurring Event will have the same Playlist. Changes to the Playlist will affect all the instances of the Event.
To get started with Recurring Events, click on the Schedule tab, then click on the “Create New Event” button in the top right corner of the Schedule pane.
This will open the “Create a New Event” window. Add an Event title, date and time, duration and select a Playlist, just as you would for a regular Event, then click on the “Recurrence Setup” tab at the top of the window.
If you click on the “Submit” button without clicking on the “Recurrence Setup” tab, you will create a regular Event, which does not repeat in the schedule.
In the “Recurrence Setup” tab, you will see options for selecting the days of the week for repeating the Event.
Select a day, or multiple days of the week. When you select a day of the week, the button will turn red, as in the example above. In the example above, the Event would repeat on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Select an end date for the recurring Event. The Event, once created, will occur weekly until the End Date is reached. You can have recurring Events repeat for several months or for an entire year, if you like. We advise that you schedule the event for a few weeks at first to make sure that it appears the way that you expect it to.
When you have scheduled your recurring Event, you will see it appear in the Schedule pane. You will know it is a recurring Event because it will have a circular arrows icon in the top right corner of the Event box.
Clicking on the Event in the Schedule pane will allow you to edit the Event, view the Tracks and change the Recurrence Setup if you wish.
If you would like to delete the Recurring Event that you just created, use the “Delete” button to remove of all of the instances. Delete just one instance by clicking on the “Delete this Occurrence” button. Deleting a single occurrence will not affect the other instances.
